

Simply email or fax your credit applications to Hotel Credit Association and we will research our large database for any additional credit references, contact the listed hotel references and then send you a Credit Profile. We also check trade/vendor references, but if we have hotel database references we will provide these instead of your trade/vendor references. Our average turnaround time is 1–5 business days. Several companies will already be in our database with current credit history and these Credit Profiles will be returned within 24 hours.
If you should receive a credit application with little notice or if obtaining references from your client is becoming a hassle, we also offer a database check for the same charge. Simply call or email our friendly staff with the company name and address and we will search our database for recent credit history. If current credit references are available, we can return a report to you within the hour. It’s that simple.




In addition to credit verification, we also allow our member hotels to voice their opinions about groups who are slow to pay or have been sent to collections. If you have ever had to deal with a company or organization who refused to pay their charges, you know the hassles of collecting payment and reporting their activity. We encourage all hotels within our network to report these companies to Hotel Credit Association so in the future direct billing may not be allowed. This may also cause the group to settle any unpaid charges with previous hotels so they may continue to setup direct billing at future hotels. We compile, verify and store negative credit references in our database for up to 4 years and provide this to our hotels as additional information on the Credit Profiles. Credit verification is not only informing hotels about positive clients, it is also protecting hotels from extending credit to unreliable business.
